In the current employment market, qualified C-suite and key management employees are highly sought after. In this program we will discuss a variety of incentive compensation arrangements commonly utilized by privately-held companies to attract, retain, and incentivize such employees, including equity (stock based and profits-interest programs) and non-equity based arrangements. We will also discuss funding mechanisms, tax treatment for employees and employers, and a variety of design alternatives and opportunities.
